The Rome Design

The UPU Congress in Rome 1906 decided to introduce
the International Reply Coupons
from October 1st 1907.
These Coupons have later been
refered to as The Rome Design

The Stockholm Type.

A Type of the Rome Design is the Stockholm Type, decided at the UPU Congress in Stockholm 1924 and introduced in 1925. The size is slightly smaller and there are neighter longitude nor latitude circles covering the two Globes

We have the following 8 types of the Rome Design:

Type Ro 01	Lines between the Languages on back
Type Ro 02	German text 4 lines. No Lines between Languages.
Type Ro 03	Nation's Name in Italics. Back with German Text in 3 Lines
Type Ro 04	Nation's Name vertical letters. Back as Ro3
Type Ro 05*	Back with all languages in three lines with red overprint in 6 - 5 - 6 and 6 lines
Type Ro 06	Back with each Language in 5 Lines
Type Ro 07	Red Overprint on Ro6
Type Ro 08	The Stockholm Type. The size is slightly smaller and there are neighter longitude nor latitude circles covering the two Globes
* Ro 05 has subtypes referring to the size and setting of the front text
